Color Insets

Get ready for more pictures! I've decided that I officially LOVE photobucket! I've figured out how to do lots of stuff! My absolutely favorite thing to do (At the moment :) is make color insets. Those pictures that are black and white (Or whatever) and then there is a little piece of color in the picture. I've been experimenting with these kind of pictures all week, and I'm going to share some right now!

I don't know why I still have this Christmas tree up. I guess since it's in my closet (And my closet is the place I normally clean...) and I haven't picked it up!


Now, I'm NOT sure if this is illegal, but Kate said she didn't think so. If anyone knows, PLEASE leave a comment. I don't want a police man showing up on my doorstep because I posted something illegal on my blog! I got this picture off of Google. I TOTALLY forget where I got this pic! I'll take it off in a second if I figure out it's illegal. But I'm really not sure! I changed the picture to black and white and then made the umbrella colorful. Is that illegal??? Hmm, well, enough about that! Let's move onto other pics!


It may be hard to tell, but I colored the mailbox handle. I thought it looked pretty neat!


And yes, you all can stop looking for that little splash of color, because there is none. I just like my sunglasses :)


And I'm sure most of you have seen this pic before (Unless of course you use Google reader, you might not have). I'm using it as my header pic. What do you think?

Today the weather was WINDY!!! We still have leaves swirling past our windows.


This was the only leaf that was still for 5 seconds. But then it got picked up and carried off by the wind. Tonight it's supposed to be REALLY windy too. Last night we lost electricity around 8:30 and we got it back at 5:30 the next morning. It probably wasn't the best night for thunder and lightning considering little-Miss-You-Know-Who. Joelle and thunder don't really.. mix. Mom and Dad were at the Inn By the Side of the Road (Which by the way, Kate, Joelle and I went over around 10:30 this morning to see the cottage. It is REALLY nice! The bathroom takes up half of the space, and I'm NOT kidding!) and Joelle was already missing Mom and Dad (I was too :). Kate and Joelle slept in Mom and Dad's bed. If felt kind of funny for me, 'cause whenever I go to bed, Joelle is always there! She never goes to any sleep overs (I don't know ANY four year olds who do), and she can't stay up 'til midnight :) So going to sleep in an empty bedroom, having ALL the lights off (We usually have at least a couple on while I'm trying to sleep. Unlike some of my sisters, I don't like sleeping in complete darkness.), and having Mom and Dad out of the house felt sort of weird to me. I must have just been plum tired, 'cause I fell asleep pretty quickly. So all of that to say, hmm, I'm not sure what all that was leading up to, so I'll just bid good-night and write more some other time!
