Well, It's Official

Barack Obama is our new President.

I am only 12 years old, so this issue doesn't concern me. If I did comment on this subject, I would be repeating what my parents have said, and my mom might want to write about the new presidency since she has started blogging again! Yay! So, let's talk about something more exciting, shall we?

Exciting thing #1:

I've decided to try to learn a couple verses from the Bible. I am trying to learn Philippians 2:14-18.

(NLT) In everything you do, stay away from complaining and arguing, so that no one can speak a word of blame against you. You are to live clean, innocent lives as children of God in a dark world full of crooked and perverse people. Let your lives shine brightly before them. Hold tightly to the word of life, so that when Christ returns, I will be proud that I did not lose the race and that my work was not useless. But even if my life is to be poured out like a drink offering to complete the sacrifice of your faithful service (that is, if I am to die for you), I will rejoice, and I want to share my joy with all of you. And you should be happy about this and rejoice with me.

It's pretty long, but I'm going to print it out on a card and try to memorize some of it every day.

Exciting thing #2:

Pictures!

Joelle and I had a deal. I could take pictures of her if I would take pictures of her Hello Kitty outfit. I don't know... :)

It's a deal!

As you know, I'm fascinated with Fall. So, here come some more pictures!

Let's see, how many posts have I done with fall pictures? Dare to Compare, A Moment Of Peace in an Anything but Peaceful World, This is NOT fall, This post is about..., Fall is on its way..., Fun fall crafts, need I go on?

Exciting thing #3:

Pie! Pie is exciting too, right? It may not be as exciting as winning $1,000,000,000, but it sure tastes better!

Apple pie is my favorite!

Exciting (Or sad) thing #4:

My cousin and best friend is moving away in 21 days :( She's moving about 5 minutes away! This is horrible! We live right beside each other so when she moves away, we won't spend every summer day together :( I'm going over on Saturday to their new house to help them clean and get ready! That'll be exciting! There's something not fun about cleaning your own house...

Apologetic thing #1:

I forgot to do my Tour My House Tuesday yesterday! Sorry! I'm not doing well with this 'categories for certain days' thing :(

Now that I'm finished I'm gonna go and do things that are WAY more fun than blogging. I'm gonna make my bed (Again. This has Joelle written all over it), vacuume my room, throw some laundry in the washing machine, and perhaps clean out Gilbert's fish bowl if it needs it. Doesn't that sound like fun? Well, I'd best hop to it if I want to be able to spend some time on this evening catching up on other blogs. So I'll see you later and hopefully when I come back, all my stuff will be made, vacuumed, folded and cleaned :)

First of all, I'm a tad frustrated at this 'scrapblog' thing. I admit, it's an amazing site, but I've been trying to come up with this header for my blog. They have so many options of what you can do! It's very overwhelming. I can never find just the right one. None of them are 'it'. Here's a few of them:

There are 3 of them on the picture, just click the arrows to go to the next one. The second one was just a random idea... I wasn't considering that one.

I have no idea which one I should do! Can you sense my frustration?

My second frustration is my blog. The scenery around my house is so beautiful in the fall, that I have to take pictures! And then when I take a good picture, I need to post it in my blog! I really hope you all aren't tired of looking at fall pictures! You'll be seeing more of them today! I'll try to find something more interesting to post!

All that out of the way, here are more pictures of scenery.

I got lot's of pictures of Joelle. This one was my favorite! At least this isn't her 'fake smile'! The one above is a really sweet face too!

I got 12 shots of Joelle and me together! My hair is flippy, so when I would take the picture, my hair would curl around her face! Sort of like this one.

That is what Joelle looks like with short, blonde hair! I don't particularly like the one above, but it was a good one with my flippy hair. I like this one though!

Except for that piece of hair in my mouth :)

Me...

Joelle...

Sisters! We love each other!

See ya next time!

Dare to Compare?

Here's a big surprise:

I'm gonna post MORE fall pictures!

Are you surprised? :) I'm sure this won't be the last time I'll post pictures of fall. The other day, I noticed that MORE leaves were falling and turning different colors. And THEN I noticed that the 'little lonely tree' had completely changed in less then a weeks time! I had to take a picture. Do you see the difference?

Here's another surprise:

You might have to enlarge it to see all the detail! :)

But, after I took that picture, I saw something else to take a picture of. You remember that picture I took by accident? That tree had changed too! I tried to get another picture just like it. How do you think I did?

Here's the one I took the other day.

And here's the one I took on Thursday.

I think I did OK.

And after I took that picture, I just had to walk around and see what else was changing in our backyard.

These little things look, feel, and are nasty. Ooh, chestnut burrs! What I find amazing is that the outside is prickly and painful, yet the inside is velvety soft. What comes out is good too!

Chestnuts! Except for the fact that ours are worm-infested, strewn all over the place, and when you pick one up, another falls down, they are very good!

Everyone knows that a blog post wouldn't be complete without a few pics of Joelle!

That one is my favorite!

The only time she is quiet. While watching the Wiggles!

Oh Joelle! Always making silly faces!

P.S. Just in case I ever wanted to do another 'dare to compare' post, I took some pictures of some of our trees so when all the leaves fall off, or when they change color, I'll have pictures to compare!

Maybe next time, Joelle and the lady walking won't be in my picture! I'll show you a picture of this tree once it snows!

P.P.S. Sorry about the bad quality of these pictures. Somethings wrong with it. I probably did something like turned it to manual instead of auto... I don't really know, but I'll keep you posted! :)

This post is about...

... just about everything!

... the cutest little girl! Isn't she adorable when she's asleep (Don't get me wrong, she's cute when she's awake too!)?

... my fish Gilbert. I took a couple of pictures of Gilbert today. My family pics wouldn't be the same if Gilbert's picture wasn't there!

... the perfect kite flying weather we had today! Last weekend at the relief sale, I got Joelle a kite at the children's auction. It was a Barbie kite! Yeah! I love Barbie! Don't you? Sigh... Oh well, it flies pretty well. We had to add a LONG yellow ribbon to the end for the tail. It kept wanting to fall to one side. Finally once we got the kite up high enough, it flew... until it landed on our neighbors roof. I wish I would have gotten a picture of it, but I got my camera to late.

... how beautiful the trees are going to be this fall! While mom and I were taking a walk, I spied the first half-red tree on our cul-de-sac.

... a new shirt I made (I weaved it and everything... :)! I'm gonna wear it when I go to Jenny's volleyball games!

Front

Back

... all the beautiful sites around me!

This is the pumpkin I got from the relief sale.

Here are some mums (I think) that are growing on our front porch.

And here is the game that is driving me bonkers! The object of the game is that you have to get the 'bugs' colors, headlights and taillights matching. I got it once, and I marked the middle piece. The puzzle will only work one way. Confusing!

See ya!
